Crash Involving Motorcycle Kills 1, Injures 3

Three people were injured and another killed in an accident involving a motorcycle in the afternoon on Sunday, July 7. The California Highway Patrol reported that the accident happened just after 4:00 p.m. at the intersection of Valley Center and Mirar De Valle roads.
According to authorities, a 30-year-old man riding a motorcycle was heading southbound when he struck the rear left corner of a Nissan Altima completing a left turn onto Valley Center Road.
The driver of the motorcycle was ejected from his vehicle. He was taken to Palomar Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.
The driver of the Nissan, 39, and his two passengers, a 42-year-old woman and a 3-year-old girl, were all taken to Rady Children’s Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
No information has been released about possible causes for the crash.
