Speed Suspected Cause of Crash that Killed 1
Escondido, CA – One man was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Reidy Creek Golf Course early Friday, June 21.
The driver, whose identity has not been released, was reportedly heading west around 7 a.m. when his Lexus sedan veered off the road and hit a curb.
According to police, the car continued driving for a short distance before crashing into a large tree in a center median.
The driver of the car was transported to Palomar Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. Authorities suspect speed to be a factor in the crash.
