San Diego Police Looking for Drivers Involved in a Fatal Hit-and-Run in Clairemont
San Diego, CA (1/22/2020) – San Diego Police are currently looking for three drivers who fatally struck a pedestrian on Wednesday night. The accident happened at about 7:30 p.m. at the 5500 block of Clairemont Mesa Boulevard.
One vehicle struck the 44-year-old pedestrian in the second lane of Clairemont Mesa Boulevard. Afterwards, two other vehicles ran over the pedestrian and also left the scene.
One witness, Oswaldo, said he saw cars running over the person as he passed by in his car. He stopped and tried to help the victim while his wife called 911. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
