San Diego – A crash involving two cars on SR-163 in Balboa Park Saturday morning left one person dead and three others injured. The accident was on the Cabrillo Highway near the Quince Street overpass around 2:30 a.m.

A Lexus Sedan rear-ended a Mazda sedan causing both cars to roll off the highway. One vehicle was rolling down an embankment and made its way into a drain channel.

Officials are still investigating the accident. They are still unaware if drugs or alcohol were a factor of the incident.
